The service
SplitAiCheck (“Split AI Check”) lets you scan a receipt, assign items, split tax and tip, and share what each person owes. We offer a web app at splitaicheck.com and an iPhone app on the App Store. We may change or discontinue features.
Your account
You are responsible for the Google or X account you use to sign in, and for activity under that account. Don’t share access. You must be old enough to use App Store and web services in your region (typically 13+, or the age required by your country’s digital-consent rules).
Receipts and accuracy
Scanning uses automated recognition. Totals can be wrong. You must review items, tax, and tip before you share or collect money. We are not a payment processor and we don’t move funds between friends — Venmo, Zelle, and similar apps are third parties with their own terms.
In-app purchases and ads
The iPhone app may show ads. Premium is a $5.99 one-time Apple in-app purchase that removes ads and lifts free limits on saved checks, people, and payment methods. Purchases, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the scanner, attempt to break the service, scrape other people’s bills, or use Split AI Check for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that harm the product or other users.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that splits will be error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SplitAiCheck isn’t liable for indirect damages, lost money between friends, or third-party payment apps.
