Privacy Policy
Last updated August 16, 2026. We collect only what we need to split a check and run the product.
What we collect
Account info from Google or X (name, email, avatar). Receipt images you scan and the item lists we extract. People, payment handles, tax defaults, and bill history you save. Support messages you send. Invite codes and which friend signed up with your link, so we can grant promotional premium. On iPhone, Apple may process in-app purchases. Ads partners (Unity) may receive device signals if you allow tracking.
How we use it
To scan receipts, calculate splits, remember your group, attach payment methods to a share, show or hide ads, and answer support. We don’t sell your checks or contact list.
Processors
Hosting and database (Supabase). Receipt analysis via our AI provider. Apple for App Store billing. Unity Ads on free iPhone builds. Payment apps you choose (Venmo, Zelle, and others) receive only what you put in a share message.
Retention and your choices
Bills stay until you delete them or close your account. You can decline App Tracking on iPhone and still split. Email support@splitaicheck.com to request deletion.
